Even though it is in west Sligo, it is part of the hinterland of Kilglass Parish is situated between Castleconnor Parish to the south and Easkey Parish to the north and it touches Dromore West Parish to the east.

On the west is the Atlantic Ocean, which stretches from Enniscrone¹s majestic Blue Flag beach on the south to Pullaheeney Harbour on the north.

Ballina, which is about 10 miles distant. It is approximately 35 miles from Sligo Town. Enniscrone is a busy tourist centre, especially during the summer months and its participation in the Resort Renewal Scheme has led to a significant increase in tourist accommodation. Enniscrone boasts an impressive aqua centre, Waterpoint, and Enniscrone Golf Course, one of the finest courses in Ireland.

Klglass Parish is situated in the deanery of Tirereagh in West Sligo.  Within the Roman Catholic Parish parish there are two church areas, Kilglass and Enniscrone, centred on two churches: The Church of the Holy Family, Kilglass and The Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Enniscrone.
